Need your help!

My Blog

Evening everybody,

I'm in the process of submitting some of my work for publication in some British photography magazines.
I've got decided on most of the shots, but I'm struggling to decide between these two images.

They're quite similar, but I love them both.
I was wondering if you lovely people could help me decide between...

Its between these two badboys.
As you can see, quite similar, but I feel they have a different feel.

Which barley shot...?

Please vote on the poll, I'd really appreciate.
If you'd like to let me know why you picked what you did, feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Thanks a bunch!
TTFN,

Matt.

End of Year Wrap Up: 2009

Evening ladies and gents,

Is that time of year again..!
There's a conifer in the lounge and my house is lit up like Blackpool.
Gatwicks closed due to some sleet, the M3 is in chaos and I'm running around like a tit struggling to think of what to buy for people.
It must be Christmas!

There's a big double line drawn in my orders book after the last entry. Everything has been packaged up and posted or filed away somewhere in my office. Had my last order of the year collected today, a custom block mounted panoramic print, very nice, which signals the end of the 2009 for me.
In an official capacity anyways. Now I get to mess about and experiment a bit over the holidays. Yay.

2009 has been a real roller coaster year.
I've had my triumphs; having my work displayed at Titchfield Haven and having my work stocked in two more local shops.
My lowerpoints; one of said shops avoiding payment when I sold a couple of prints through them, my computer dying on me, and not being able to shoot much, for one reason or another.

Review: Phottix Nikos [TC-501]

My Blog

Phottix Nikos [TC-501]

So I got a new toy in the post today... Nah, still the same old camera.

I got myself a new timer release & intervalometer... [Its basically a fancy cable release].
Most of the big brands have their own, Nikon have the MC-36, Canon have the TC-80N3.

Thing is, they do the same thing... They're based on the same circuit, and same principle.
You can set it to do lots of exposures, tell it to do an exposure 5 hours, 43 minutes and 19 seconds after you click the button, or program it to do a 3 hour, 59 minute and 2 second exposure, using your camera's bulb setting [normally a couple of clicks after 30sec in manual mode].

Important notice!

My Blog

My central heating clicked on this morning!

And cause of this, I officially declare Summer... Over!
Bring on the autumn!

That's all...
